[ He’s gonna go ahead and give Yeager an explanation about his role, as well as the deal with Hamelin he made!! I mentioned these things to you already, so I won’t bore you with the explanation Redd— ]
It sounds like you've been busy! It seems there certainly is a lot going on here...
[Now he just feels sort of silly for not paying closer attention to everything earlier!! Oh well.]
I suppose the next question is what the current plan is. Are we currently searching for information or is there something more we should be working towards?
We should still find the traitors, but I don’t think they deserve death. The “why” behind why they’re doing this is more important than ever, because we’re getting more and more hints behind the bigger picture, and their explanations could be essential to us figuring out Hamelin’s motivations.
In turn, that might unlock some important information behind the events behind our arrival and our presence here.
I'm not sure...I can't see it changing Jack's mind. He might seem like an easy person but he's clearly more thoughtful than he appears and cautious given his responses at the meeting.
I went and confronted him afterwards and he acted like he forgot when I accused him about what Hamelin said to him. But honestly, I'm not fooled...
[ It's still unconfirmed but if it's not Jack he'll eat 10 hats. ]
I agree with you. I can certainly understand wanting the traitors to pay, but at this point I think it will be more beneficial to learn what we can from them. Besides, killing them would just lead to another trial and we can't afford to keep losing people.
[Our biggest advantage right now is numbers, and we lose more and more people every week.]
With that said, I'm not sure how exactly to pinpoint them. I imagine that they might be willing to come forward once we have solid information about their role in all of this and approach them privately, but for now I believe the most we have is speculation, ja?
Yes, mostly speculation but...Jack has a lot against him.
If they don't reveal themselves at some point next week I suppose I could make a more heavy accusation with Jack first, though I'm not sure what to make him really confess at that point.
I don't know him very well, so I'm afraid I can't help there. A proper accusation might help if he's the type to give himself up or switch sides to keep himself safe, but it could work against us if he isn't. I suppose it depends on what he's getting out of working against the group.
Phil and I set a trap to alert us if anyone left our room last Thursday when he and Yuri were staying with us. It was untouched, but that doesn't mean much of anything other than that neither one of them had a hand in the murder itself.
It does seem like the traitors aren't interfering with that, at least. It would be remarkably easy to make things difficult for us... but I suppose that isn't what Hamelin wants them to do.
[For whatever reason?? He doesn't pretend to know what the traitors are doing.]
It's possible that Hamelin communicates with them in person, so there wouldn't be notes or anything of the sort left behind. Or maybe they're supposed to destroy the notes! I don't think it means he isn't a traitor, but it's certainly something to keep in mind.
The door wasn't even locked, was it? In retrospect, I suppose that should have been a clue that we wouldn't be likely to find anything of great importance...

[He waves at that, but...]
I am admittedly very curious what you all have been up to, if you don't mind sharing!

I don't think we found anything really incriminating though

We were safe
He did have a doodle of Alexei as a mushroom
Which isn't traitor-relevant but I thought you'd appreciate that mental image

I suppose McGillis is the next person to look at, ja? Do you plan on trying to break into his room?

They must be buying time for something, is my guess.
