My opinion, after the meeting, is this.

We should still find the traitors, but I don’t think they deserve death. The “why” behind why they’re doing this is more important than ever, because we’re getting more and more hints behind the bigger picture, and their explanations could be essential to us figuring out Hamelin’s motivations.

In turn, that might unlock some important information behind the events behind our arrival and our presence here.

That’s the question, isn’t it. Edelgard had a compelling statement yesterday. I hope that somehow, it changed their minds.

I'm not sure...I can't see it changing Jack's mind. He might seem like an easy person but he's clearly more thoughtful than he appears and cautious given his responses at the meeting.

I went and confronted him afterwards and he acted like he forgot when I accused him about what Hamelin said to him. But honestly, I'm not fooled...

I agree with you. I can certainly understand wanting the traitors to pay, but at this point I think it will be more beneficial to learn what we can from them. Besides, killing them would just lead to another trial and we can't afford to keep losing people.

With that said, I'm not sure how exactly to pinpoint them. I imagine that they might be willing to come forward once we have solid information about their role in all of this and approach them privately, but for now I believe the most we have is speculation, ja?

Yes, mostly speculation but...Jack has a lot against him.

If they don't reveal themselves at some point next week I suppose I could make a more heavy accusation with Jack first, though I'm not sure what to make him really confess at that point.

I don't know him very well, so I'm afraid I can't help there. A proper accusation might help if he's the type to give himself up or switch sides to keep himself safe, but it could work against us if he isn't. I suppose it depends on what he's getting out of working against the group.

...I think it's fair to say he seems to lean towards the type of person to protect his own skin from what I've observed of him but I can't be certain.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens.
