[ On Monday night, Tenn will send out another call for his allies to meet in his room. He has "important information" to share that requires their assistance, and when everyone gathers, Tenn gives them a very serious look.
It's also one that's very, very stressed. ]
Hamelin summoned me for the deal. I found out what the object is. It's the gumball machine.
[ see he had a reason behind the almond crimes-- ]
No. But that's a good idea. Will you help me with that this week, Huaisang?
[ And Suga and Makoto, if they want to assist as well. ]
I'll try to break in, but I was able to sprinkle some salt on it and get a weird result. A strange, creepy lullaby played; it sounded like it came from a xylophone.
[ HE HATED IT SO MUCH, LET HIM TELL YOU-- ]
I want to try to use a magnifying glass on it this week. But...I think we should have two, just in case. I think one of the notes from this past week was asking us to investigate the royal palace.
[ He looks ready to go already. He doesn't want Tenn to get into trouble.
And you know what he's gotten good at breaking and entering while he's been here! ...
Okay maybe that's not a good thing. ]
When you say the royal palace do you mean the note about the recipe? Or another one?
[ Because he did certainly/is absolutely checking out the archives. Idk what happened with his latest check yet due to waiting on an answer for that!! ]
I think it was the one from Scorpion, though I've been looking at the one from Lucifer-san as well.
[ There's no way the coffee one isn't from him, right!! ]
I distinctly remember Scorpion's mentioning something "palatial", so that might be pointing to the palace. I'm not sure though, but I think it's worth a try anyway. Do you have a glass or salt on you?
Okay. That might be a good place to check, then. If you want, one of us can go with you, but I'll be focused on that machine otherwise. I do still have around half of my bag of salt left, so we can still try other areas as well.
[ Right, there's one other thing he wants to say, too.
He stands up and opens his dresser, and pulls out...handwritten sheet music. ]
By the way. Edelgard and I raided Hamelin's office after Sunday's execution. We were only able to find these; everything else was basically empty or useless.
Regarding the sheet music though, there's one for every week. There are notes on them, and Tenn will go ahead and hum one of the songs.
Huaisang (and Suga and Makoto by extension) will be able to recognize the melody as the song they heard this morning. ]
That's what he meant, and I'm pretty sure he's aware of Edelgard and I being the ones who raided his office. It's different now, by the way: Larger, and things have been replaced with weird objects. Hunting trophies and guns, mostly.
[ IT'S PRETTY YIKES. ]
Anyway, yeah. These songs are the ones that we've been hearing on Monday mornings.
I guess it makes sense he'd have sheet music for them. I wonder if playing with the flute Marcus made can create interference of some kind and that's why he doesn't want another one around...
It'd need to be a convincing argument. I don't think it's impossible, but all the same...it'd need to be a stronger case. And it'd depend on the person that killer murdered.
I was talking to Edelgard And she talked about how executing the individual killers isn't 'justice' We won't have justice until we can end the game So I think she would be someone we could convince to vote for a traitor instead
I understand where you’re coming from, but it only will work in theory. The evidence I’ve been giving to the graveyard has been vague and applies to multiple people, and they haven’t presented us with hard evidence about who the traitors are.
We’d be taking a huge gamble by doing this. If we vote off a completely innocent person, that’s one less person who can help us.
That being said, I’m going to see if I can get more information today. I’ll keep you posted.
