He's exhausted and feels it in his bones, so when someone knocks on the door, he sighs groggily and shuffles his way over to the door. Please excuse his mild case of bed hair. ]

They don’t need to kill to have their wishes granted; their wishes are not contingent upon committing murder - unless no one else decides to kill that week. Think, Tenn, on what it means that it has taken this long for that to happen? That on our own, we wiped out over half of our numbers - and then tell me the fervent desire to hunt them down or execute them in our place was justified.

You're right, no one is innocent. That's why I pulled Makoto away when he tried to go for Jack-san. I had this conversation with someone rather recently, actually, that none of us are free of guilt and bloodshed.

Ferry-san in particular said they were working against Hamelin, and they were the one providing me with information on Jack-san and McGillis-san. They're also the one sending my notes to the deceased, and vice-versa. I think they're afraid of getting caught.
