[ Before the executions, Tenn leaves his room to go and grab something to eat. Despite how gloomy he is, a boy's gotta eat when he's hungry, so he's on his way to the kitchens to just grab. Like. A slice of bread or something.
That's when he runs into Morgan. She didn't look like she was doing so well after the trial -- neither was he, to be fair, but he looks at her as he passes and stops. ]
[ She stops when Tenn addresses her - it wasn't that she was ignoring him, per se, it's just... he's gone through quite a lot since Friday began. She's not sure whether she's the right person to talk to him about it.
She turns, looking at him with a nod. ]
I'm fine. Trying to make sense of everything, I suppose. [ pauses ] I'm sorry about Riku.
[ A nod, as he starts leading her in the direction of the lodging kitchen. It may not be as fancy as the one in the palace, but he's not feeling particularly fancy today anyway. ]
What do you want to eat? ... Are fairy diets similar to human ones?
[ He's so valid! She catches up with him, walking by his side. ]
Usually my connection with my realm is enough to sustain me, so I generally don't need to consume anything, per se. If there's a problem with that connection, then generally I can gain energy from the sun if I've used magic too much. It works differently, depending on the individual.
[ So, it's not really something she needs to worry about, since she can't use her own magic here. ]
So whatever you had in mind, I don't mind sharing.
