I'm sorry that I couldn't be a better older brother. The regret I've started to feel for how much I pushed you away these past few years is insurmountable. It wasn't something I wanted to think about at home, but being here with you has made me realize that I took our relationship for granted.
Becoming Kujo Tenn was never something that I wanted you to blame yourself for. I'll never be able to return home now, but these past few weeks, being by your side in spite of our situation reminded me of what it felt like to be family again. I hope that they left you with fond memories, too.
I know it might feel impossible for you to carry on without me, but I've seen you grow so much, Riku. You can do this. Don't let this place or anyone in it crush your spirits. If there's anyone here who can instill hope into others, it's you.
I love you, Riku. Tell Mom and Dad I missed them. I never stopped loving any of you, and I won't, even in death. Make sure Gaku and Ryuu take care of themselves and live out their dreams, even though it'll be without me.
