Suga-san... If you need someone to read what you're writing in the future -- [ Because he's not dumb, he knows this will happen again, even if he doesn't want it to. ] I'll help you.
And... Yor-san, this isn't on you. You weren't responsible for keeping Riku safe -- I was.
[ But...she's losing SQ too, isn't she? That... He doesn't know what to say. ]
There isn't anything I can offer in return Riku said that having one of my charms felt like I was watching over him But that doesn't mean anything in the end
[What he wouldn't have given to be able to protect Riku like Riku said.]
Thank you, but I have a few people teaching me things already. I wouldn't mind practicing with you, though.
[ As for Suga...that's a whole story in itself. ]
It does.
...Riku had a lot of friends back at home, and thankfully none of them made it here with us. But he would have been lonely if I weren't here, and if it weren't for the people who made him feel safe.
[ ...minus c-ta, but. Details. ]
You were one of those people. Even if...even if he's not here with us anymore, it meant something to him. Both of you did.
...I'm not as familiar with heavier weapons, but I should be able to show you how to wield blades, as well as martial arts. But... after everything, I would prefer to keep training sessions to nighttime, if that's okay.
[Though on the topic of Riku, she once again has nothing to add. She knows now, she can't protect all of them, but it's still so hard to feel the right to comment on the poor boy's death all the same.]
Lighter weapons are easier to draw and carry on your person, but it comes with the limits of close combat. They're more useful for surprise attacks, or tight spaces.
If you two are planning to use larger weapons like a battle axe or sword, it would be better to stay out of areas that are too closely confined for you to swing the weapon properly. The greatest strength of those weapons is their long reach - as long as your opponent's weapon can't reach you, you'll be safe, but if you can't use it to its full reach, it could become a hinderance instead.

(And to her, too, but it doesn't feel quite as deserved when Suga was trying to defend C-ta while she... well.)
Yor will quietly close the door behind her, folding her hands in front of her, head down.]

You don't need to apologize to me
It would've been my own fault for getting in the way

[ He's not going to lie -- he hates c-ta. Loathes the guy with everything he is. But killing him, attacking him...that wasn't right.
Especially with how important he is to Suga. ]
And...Yor-san...I'm sorry that you were put in that position. I'm so sorry, to the both of you.

...No. I let my emotions get the better of me.
[A beat. And then, a little more ragged, not quite the same tired calm as before:]
I... I keep saying, "I'll protect you, I'll protect you," but... I've done a rotten job of it, haven't I?
[It makes her want to grind her teeth in her frustration again, even if she's tired still.]
...Maybe I was just saying it for my own sake. To make myself believe I could actually do something.

I think
We all know how that feels
[They all want to do something and they just... can't.]

[ Which is the sad, sad truth. ]

...
If either of you would be interested... I would like to teach you how to defend yourselves. I can't always be there to protect you, but at least...
[At least, maybe, they could protect themselves. That's what she wants to hope, anyway.]

I would appreciate both of those
There isn't anything I can offer in return

I bought an iron sword this week
But I haven't made much progress with it
It's very different from a fake sword

[ Maybe if they're together...it's less likely they'll be targeted. Something like that. ]
I'll learn whatever I can from you both.

Don't get caught in small places
Keep your opponent away from you
